My (very late) entry for 's Valentine's contest [link] I have tons of original characters, but not that many couples (that I'd admit to, anyway *^^*) so I made one up for this image. They turned out so cute that I might make this canon, though :) I've been wanting to do a Valentine's picture for months, so glad I finally got to do one.

The characters are Elysium, my female rabbit demonspawn and wind mage, and my newest notebook boy Jeizel, an skunk angel with cursed wings who's trying to find a cure. He controls metal (hence the little golden diamonds by the heart. Elysium decides to shepherd him on his journey, and this is the moment when she promises to protect him. And he's all shy and puzzled :)

I had a lot of fun with this, but I had to did it fast, since I worked all weekend. I really like how Jeizel's design came out. Blue and orange is yum :) Sorry it's right up against the extension, ~saiyukiluver!

Pigma Micron 005 and Photoshop CS2. 9 hours?

Thank you :) I think his hair is my favorite part of this piece. I had the idea for it in the shower and couldn't wait to get to my computer to try it out. I'm trying to decide how much he's going to grow it out when he's "older", since I drew this one in a chibi/kid style :)

Wonderful job! I especially like the little touches on Elysium, like the wispy rings on her wings.

Now, Jeizel...typical guy reaction. :D

I look forward to seeing where this story goes...

Thank you :) This was a really fun piece to do because it pretty spontaneous. I'm glad I already had the designs done so I didn't neglect the details. Elysium is really fun to draw but hard to color. Hehe, Jeizel turned out so cute and stunned :D

I have so many characters in this universe now that I have to start thinking about how they all fit together. Working on the rest of the card set should help with that. I'm thinking of doing more multiple character pieces with all my demonspawnlings when I have more time.
